The Bristol Open Circle Moot is the longest running moot in Bristol having been in existence for over six years.
We hold talks and discussions on a variety of subjects, sometimes given by Moot members themselves and on other occasions by outside speakers. We organise day trips out to places such as Stanton Drew stone circle and Glastonbury and at other times we simply meet to have a drink and socialise.
On the first Tuesday of the month there is an 'Open Circle Moot.' This is when important Moot matters are discussed and arrangements for talks and celebrations are made.
A 'Book share moot' is held on the second Tuesday of the month. Moot members can bring along any interesting, inspiring, hard to get or even disappointing books. Members can also bring Tarot cards, Runes or other pagan related items. This is the best Moot for new members to attend.
We try to hold talks on the third Tuesday of the month.
During the growing season a 'witchy gardening moot' is held on the fourth Tuesday of the month where we swap plants and seeds.
In the warmer months the moot arranges walks and picnics.
The Moot accepts all who abide by the moot principles.
